So almost no one voted in the poll and I am going to assume that means you either a) have no preference or b) hate me and have tuned me out--most likely you'll want to find another guild if that's the case. :p
Anyway, I have gone ahead and pulled the trigger on going up to Niagara/Toronto. You have a few hours to tell me if you forgot to vote/your wife and kid were mad and your dog was humping your leg/various other reasons.
You must commit by 4/1 (Saturday) at midnight to let me know you're going in the first wave. Please tell me if you plan to bring a +1 that isn't an active guild member so that I can plan for this.
Benefits include: first choice of beds, first choice of place to stay, first choices of activities, guaranteed transportation to/from airport, ability to sync schedules far ahead of time, decisions about cars/transportation, not being at the mercy of time and tide as to whether you have a place...
Commit by replying to the thread. If you cannot commit at this time and have not previously given some indication as to why or when you might know for certain, it is good to keep me updated so that I can plan.
Once we get people to commit, I will book a place and say publicly how many more spaces we have. If you commit to go sometime before, say, Mayish, I'll book you in for activities as well. After that...both your activity space and your transportation needs/lodgings MAY be up to you. I will help as much as I can, but if you say on July 25th that you want to come, you should understand it will probably be more expensive and it may lead to you hanging around waiting for us to come back from something awesome we just did (TM).
IF you have a preference, please tell me whether you would like to stay in Toronto or in Niagara. If we stay in Toronto, we will do a day trip to Niagara to see the falls--it is a 90 minute drive and/or we could take a bus.
I will book from 8/3-8/8 unless flights prove untenable. Since it's an international flight to Pearson (YYZ), we can try to arrange cheaper, stopgap accommodations in case people are stranded on either end. I will probably be staying longer than the guild meetup in any case.
Ajantis: We are playing GW2 currently for the most part now
Ajantis: Hey Shadow, congrats!!
Shadowoneseven: *Hugs* I've been stuck in the middle east for the last nine months, I'm finally going home in two weeks!
Ander: I'm fairly certain we all still keep up on the guild site. :P *waves* Hi 17!
Shadowoneseven: I don't know who still checks this site, But stumbling across this has caused one hell of a heart ache. I miss you guys.
Ander: Literally the hardest part is leaving it alone in your fridge for 10 days. lol. But, with the holidays coming up, now is the time. :D
Ander: Hey guys. Some friends begged this recipe out of me and just thought I'd share with you guys too. I've made similar before. Really good prime rib, super easy to make.
Jaberse: lol, a 3 stack me and my friend played 3 games in a row with in unranked asked us to join them and try the HGC open xD
Jaberse: i made a clan in destiny 2. respond to the thread or message me on battle net for an invite
Jaberse: Well yeah, vanilla destiny 1 was basically a beta of the complete game. Maybe even alpha, want even close to complete on release
Wuqi: The biggest issue that people have with Bungie is vanilla Destiny 1.
Jaberse: maybe slightly limited in maps and endgame, but its been out for what, a month ? need time to develope new raid content
Jaberse: so far what ive seen is a very well developed, optimized, engaging game
Jaberse: they developed every halo and every single one was a smash
Jaberse: idk what people have an issue with bungie for
Lindee: I'm enjoying it so far. Just getting into the endgame stuff. Some repetition and farming, but similar to any MMO
Grand Master Tuna Cruncher: Not bland as in uninteresting, just bland in terms of variety.
